Lot 95:
A gilt dore brass aesthetic movement basket having a low oval shaped base with upturned sides and a branch form handle with wrapped wired vine, and featuring a applied cast bird on one side, and etched floral motifs & embellishments throughout. Unmarked Provenance: From the estate of Betty Dee Sefton of Beverly Hills, CA; passed down through descent to her son Yank Lee. Originally purchased from the Wendell-Jones estate in Stoke-on-Trent, England in the 1950’s.
Condition: Good condition having some areas of loss to the gilt finish and some areas of discoloration.
